Volunteer Efforts: Literacy Services depends on volunteer tutors. Each year they contribute over 1,000 volunteer hours. Others volunteer at our outreach programs. In addition to tutoring, volunteers perform important bookkeeping and fund-raising tasks. If you would like to volunteer, please contact us.

If you know someone who needs assistance in reading, please have him or her contact WELCOME for information. One of our volunteers or staff will help him or her set their goals, and we will attempt to match them with a volunteer tutor.
